ELE's Wisconsin cohort for Learning & HR Executives is a year-long learning process through face-to-face collaboration and networking with other local heads of Learning & Talent Development. Each senior leader is encouraged to bring a peer from their organization that contributes to, engages, or supports the Learning & Talent spectrum for their workplace. Session Focus: Build, Buy, Borrow--an interactive collaborative balancing research and case studies. Top Trends in Today's Manufacturing Workforce i4cp research recently published uncovered a more comprehensive analysis of talent risk is to employ the talent mapping methodology, which looks at the entire talent supply chain (e.g., acquiring, developing, and retaining) for risk. Talent mapping takes a logical, systematic approach that involves four major steps.

Conducting a talent mapping analysis to identify where the risks are in the talent supply chain should be followed by the development of strategies to mitigate the risks uncovered. This may involve a better talent acquisition strategy, a new approach to talent development, or maybe processes to improve the quality of attrition. The last, but not least important step is to develop ways to measure and monitor the strategies to determine how well they mitigate the talent risk for the business. Read more about these stepsTalent Risk Management report. Our quarterly cohort exchanges are built around the following design elements:
  1. Sharing practical case studies aligned to business needs
  2. Identifying key issues and developing insights and solutions
  3. Canvassing learning industry trends applied at ELE members' workplace
  4. Blending formal & informal learning hosted at ELE members' workplace:
    • Formal presentations, many times with line leaders, are scheduled between 1:00 - 5:15 p.m.
    • Hosting ELE Member provides an informal on-site lunch & we conclude each session with an informal networking reception.
