Judy Matijevich is an Independent Service Delivery and Operations Executive with over 28 years of diverse experience in contact center management, customer experience, associate engagement, and performance improvement. She is skilled in implementing training and quality interventions to improve performance and drive business results, and has balanced operations experience, including fulfillment, workflow, business continuity, facilities, site selection and offshoring. Over the years Judy has championed best call center practices locally and internationally.

In her most recent corporate role as Senior Vice-President, Customer & Associate Experience Executive at Bank of America, Judy was responsible for developing and supporting customer and associate experience strategies for the bank’s deposit contact centers which consisted of 9,000 agents across 20 sites. She focused on customer treatment and problem handling, associate engagement, recognition and reward, and internal communications. Judy also worked on a cross-functional team to develop and pilot a social media strategy that proactively collected and resolved customer issues.

Previously, Judy was the Senior Vice-President, Regional Call Center Manager at LaSalle Bank, where she collaborated with senior leadership to develop an integrated “virtual branch” strategy for ATM, Web and Call Center channels and managed a 500-seat, multi-site call center. Judy was responsible for overseeing all aspects of internal and external customer touch, including voice-to-voice customer service and retail help desk, online banking and email, inbound and outbound telesales, and all of the associated support functions.

Renie has facilitated training for corporate, non-profit, and university audiences in Ghana, Europe, and Asia. She has trained Kanbay Technical Leads from Australia, Europe, Hong Kong, India, and North America via webcasts. She hosted a bi-monthly talk show for North America, Latin America, and Asian audiences. She managed the translation of sales and marketing materials for Asia and Latin America.

She is the co-author of The Essential Guide to Training Global Audiences. This is a resource designed to help presenters and trainers when they are facilitating to a new audience for the first time. It has over 60 contributors and covers 30 countries. She is also the editor of Sales Training Solutions, a resource written by 11 different sales trainers to help develop and implement successful sales training. Rod Mebane is a seasoned professional who specializes in corporate learning strategy with emphasis on executive and leadership development. He has been pursuing consulting interests since April 2006, when he stepped down as the Chief Learning Officer (CLO) at BDO Seidman, LLP – the nation’s sixth largest accounting firm.

In his seven years with BDO, Rod designed & implemented a comprehensive learning framework to advance the firm’s strategic business objectives, implemented competency-based performance systems, infused professional development throughout the curriculum, and created the BDO Leadership Institute. This last stands as a “best-in-class” program within the industry – serving the succession interests of the firm by developing high-performers into exceptional leaders.

Before taking on the CLO responsibilities at BDO, Rod served as Senior Performance Consultant at Arthur Andersen where he provided knowledge management support to executive leadership on global strategy and performance management initiatives. He was also instrumental in forming the first unit within Andersen’s learning community to focus on organizational development (OD) strategies, and he pioneered an encompassing Learning Assessment Model to “dashboard” key learning facets and functions. In his various roles, Rod has also developed expertise in the areas of organizational communication, strategic facilitation, and change planning & implementation.

Mr. Mebane holds a bachelor’s degree from Swarthmore College and master’s degree from the Annenberg School for Communication (University of Pennsylvania), and he is broadly published on a variety of learning and general business topics. Avocationally, Rod serves as Board President for a literacy volunteers organization in his Chicago suburban community.

Amy has been with The Northern Trust for 11 years filling many roles around the design and development and delivery of learning solutions for both clients and internal partners. She specializes in elearning, web design and usability.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Amy was a Senior Instructional Designer at CARA Corporation in Oak Brook. She received a B.S. degree in Media Communications from Aurora University and an M.S.Ed. degree in Instructional Technology from Northern Illinois University. Amy has also served as an adjunct faculty member at Waubonsee Community College. She is a member of the Chicago Chapter of the International Society for Performance Improvement and the American Management Association.
