Scott Howland is the Director of Learning and Development at Tellabs Operations, Inc. Previously Scott was the Vice President of Human Resources at Morgan Stanley. He is a Human Resources Executive with broad experience, emphasizing HR products: training, compensation, benefits, HRIS, recruiting and analytics. Scott holds a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and a Masters of Business Administration. He has taught mathematics at the high school level and currently develops and trains adult learners on various human resource related topics. Scott holds Certified Compensation Professional designation from the World at Work. He has over 15 years of management experience and an additional 5 years of Human Resource consulting experience. Scott takes an extremely analytical approach to the management and strategic direction of Human Resources.

Karen Hyder has been teaching people to use technology since 1991. As a trainer for Logical Operations (now Element K) she delivered end-user software courses in face-to-face sessions. In 1994, she began teaching other trainers how to engage learners effectively and, in that role, has helped hundreds of trainers polish their skills earn Microsoft Certified Trainer (MCT) and CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) certifications.
Karen began using Synchronous software tools (like WebEx) in 1999 offering train-the-trainer and instructional design programs for Synchronous online delivery. In addition to that work, Karen has also served as the Online Forums Moderator and Speaker Coach for The eLearning Guild for the past 5 years. She supports trainers and subject-matter-experts who want to deliver their content using Synchronous online tools.
She is a founding member of CompTIA’s CTT+ advisory Committee and has been instrumental in developing and promoting the Certified Technical Trainer Virtual Trainer program.
Karen makes her home in rural New York state.

Tina Jandris is General Manager of The CARA Group, Inc. In this role, Tina is responsible for daily operations including sales and recruiting productivity as well as service delivery. Jandris brings more than twenty-five years of experience in corporate sales and marketing management, team building, and training. Her career includes many years of experience working directly with numerous Fortune 500 clients in major national markets. She holds an MBA from Loyola University of Chicago Graduate School of Business.

As co-founder of the Shapiro Negotiations Institute (SNI), Mark's organization has trained tens of thousands of people throughout the world in Negotiation and Influencing Skills.
More recently, Mark is fast becoming an expert in using Virtual Worlds for corporate education. He has delivered over a dozen programs in Second Life and regularly consults with organizations with regard to how to establish a presence in virtual worlds, as well as to how to use the tools within Second Life to make presentations maximize the opportunities within Second Life. Jim is responsible for leveraging existing and emerging technologies to deliver and enable workplace learning solutions in the U.S. foodservice industry, which is composed of 945,000 restaurant and foodservice outlets staffed by a workforce of 13.1 million people. He works in a collaborative role with most departments in the NRA Solutions' Operations division and is researching the topic and technologies of “Learning 2.0” with particular attention to knowledge networking communities and platforms in the workplace. Jim graduated with a Ph.D. degree in Food Science from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2001. He previously earned a B.S. degree in Food Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1990. Jim has been a member of ASTD since 1999 and currently serves on the Program Advisory Committee for the 2008-2009 TechKnowledge® Conference & Exposition. Additionally, he became a charter member of the eLearning Guild in 2002.

Andy Jefferson is the Chief Executive Officer of Fort Hill Company. Andy is an accomplished executive with a career spanning both operational and legal roles. He has significant line management expertise and is experienced in strategic planning, sales and marketing, productivity, and technology development in large and small corporate environments. Andy is a co-author of The 6Ds of Breakthrough Learning: How to Turn Training and Development into Business Results (San Francisco: Pfeiffer, 2006) and Getting Your Money’s Worth from Training and Development (San Francisco: Pfeiffer, 2009). Prior to joining Fort Hill Company, Andy was the Chief Executive Officer of Vital Home Services. Andy also served as the Chief Operating Officer and General Counsel of AmeriStar Technologies, Inc., a technology firm ranked one of the country’s leading network integration and systems solutions providers. Andy is admitted to the Bar of the State of Delaware, and spent the early part of his career as an attorney focused on corporate and complex transactions. He is a graduate of the University of Delaware and graduated Phi Kappa Phi with honors from the Widener University School of Law, where he currently serves on the school’s Board of Overseers.

As Vice President of Multimedia Product Development within Motorola’s Mobile Devices business, Roger Jellicoe is responsible for developing and designing exciting new devices around compelling experiences. In this role, Roger and his staff collaborate with Motorola’s design and technology teams and global external partners to define and deliver these innovative products, from conception to completion. Roger is based in Libertyville Illinois, and manages teams in Libertyville, Sunnyvale, California, and Aalborg, Denmark.
Prior to this role, Roger served as Director of Operations within Motorola’s Mobile Devices business, managing GSM mobile product designs. He was a key leader in the development and delivery of Motorola’s “must have” RAZR V3 handset – one of the slimmest and sleekest mobiles on the market.
Roger has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and has held roles of increasing responsibility across a number of Motorola’s core businesses. He has extensive experience in managing and delivering new products – from two-way radios to pagers – in markets worldwide.
Roger holds a bachelors degree in electrical sciences from Cambridge University in the UK.
