The ELE cohort quarterly sessions for Learning & HR Executives are a year-long learning process through face-to-face collaboration and networking with other local heads of Learning & Talent Development. Each senior leader is encouraged to bring a peer is another head of Learning & Talent Development from their organization that contributes to, engages, or supports the Learning & Talent spectrum for their workplace.

Our  quarterly cohort exchanges are built around the following design elements:

  1. Sharing practical case studies aligned to business needs
  2. Identifying key issues and developing insights and solutions
  3. Canvassing learning industry trends applied at ELE members' workplace
  4. Blending formal & informal learning hosted at ELE members' workplace:
    • Formal presentations, many times meeting with line leaders,
    • Hosting ELE Member provides an on-site lunch & we conclude each session with an informal off-site dinner or cocktails.

How long is each quarterly collaboratives?

Quarterly in-person exchanges, hosted at a different ELE member location between 11:30 a.m. 6:00 p.m., consists of on-site lunch, formal afternoon presentations, followed by informal cocktails.

Quarterly virtual exchanges with webcams are approximately 2 hours long hosted on Zoom.

Who is the ELE Chicagoland Cohort?

The purpose of the ELE Chicagoland Cohort is to provide a quarterly forum for Chief Learning Officers, Chief Learning Officers, Chief Talent Officers, Senior Learning & Talent Development Directors and other functional heads of corporate learning and talent management to share experiences in small groups limited to 20 peers.

Who is the ELE Wisconsin Cohort?

This is our second ELE cohort to provide a quarterly forum for Chief Learning Officers, Chief Talent Officers, Senior Learning & Talent Management Directors and other functional heads of corporate HR, learning and talent management to share experiences in small groups limited to 20 peers.

What are the objectives of the ELE Chicagoland, Wisconsin & Virtual Cohorts?

As a result of attending these F2F exchanges, participants will be able to:
  • Connect with other local learning and talent development leaders, sharing issues and insights
  • Change their own behavior in the way they execute the Chief Learning Officer (CLO), Chief Talent Officer (CTO) & Chief HR Officer (CHRO) roles.
  • Create plans for taking new actions within their learning function and organization
  • Find comfort and community with your ELE peer-group

What is the proposed code of conduct and basic operating principles for members?

It is envisioned that the senior executives will determine both objectives for this group and criteria for new members to join in the future. Active participates will be required to attend at least two quarterly sessions annually.
