The Chicagoland CLO/CTO Group (CCG) & SE-WI CLO/CTO/CHRO Group (CCC) quarterly sessions are a year-long learning process through face-to-face collaboration and networking with other local heads of Learning & Talent Development. Each senior leader is encouraged to bring a peer is another head of Learning & Talent Development from their organization that contributes to, engages, or supports the Learning & Talent spectrum for their workplace.

Our  quarterly meetings are built around the following design elements:

  1. Sharing practical case studies aligned to business needs
  2. Identifying key issues and developing insights and solutions
  3. Canvassing learning industry trends applied at ELE members' workplace
  4. Blending formal & informal learning hosted at ELE members' workplace:
    • Formal presentations, many times meeting with line leaders, are scheduled between 1:00 - 5:15 p.m.
    • Hosting ELE Member provides an on-site lunch & we conclude each session with an informal off-site dinner or cocktails.

How long is each quarterly collaboratives?

Quarterly sessions, hosted at a different CCG member location between 11:30 a.m. 7:30 p.m., consists of on-site lunch, formal afternoon presentations, followed by informal cocktails.

Who is the Chicagoland CLO/CTO Group?

The purpose of the Chicagoland CLO Group (CCG) is to provide a quarterly forum for Chief Learning Officers, Chief Learning Officers, Chief Talent Officers, Senior Learning & Talent Development Directors and other functional heads of corporate learning and talent management to share experiences in small groups limited to 20 peers.

As the Chicagoland CCG attracts new members, they will be assigned a primary cohort to ensure high-quality collaboration.

Who is the SE-WI & Northern-IL CLO/CTO/CHRO Group?

The purpose of the SE-Wisconsin & Northern IL CLO/CTO/CHRO Group (SEWI-CCC) is to provide a quarterly forum for Chief Learning Officers, Chief Talent Officers, Senior Learning & Talent Management Directors and other functional heads of corporate HR, learning and talent management to share experiences in small groups limited to 20 peers.

What are the objectives of the CLO/CTO Groups?

As a result of attending this session, participants will be able to:
  • Connect with other local learning and talent development leaders, sharing issues and insights
  • Change their own behavior in the way they execute the Chief Learning Officer (CLO), Chief Talent Officer (CTO) & Chief HR Officer (CHRO) roles.
  • Create plans for taking new actions within their learning function and organization
  • Find comfort and community in the CCG

What is the proposed code of conduct and basic operating principles for members?

It is envisioned that the senior executives will determine both objectives for this group and criteria for new members to join in the future. Active participates will be required to attend at least two quarterly sessions annually.

What are the centralized resources provided by the Executive Learning Exchange?

The Executive Learning Exchange provides centralized logistics for local thought leaders to share their talent management initiatives with peers (i.e., coordinates event registration, keeps up a database of email addresses for sending out announcements, and maintains an online repository of case studies contributed by local thought leaders).

What Levels of CCG Memberships are available?

Annual membership fee is for one or two senior leaders in your organization and will be used to build a budget to pay for facilities,compensation for facilitators, coordination and technology services supporting a vibrant collaboration:
  • $7,500 BEST VALUE SAVE UP TO $2,000: Enterprise ELE Membership PLUS CLO/CTO Group.

  • $4,500 annual fee (you and your colleague need to be a CLO, CTO or the head of your organization's learning or talent management function). Since January 2008 our CLO/CTO advisers recommended that each organization attends with both function heads for both learning and talent development in their organization. We are keeping this option available.
  • $1,200 attendee fee for a single one-day CCG session.

Requests for refunds can be sent to info@learningexecutive.com with refunds for annual fees pro-rated as a percentage of the remaining months left in the year.
