Description: The Chicagoland CLO/CTO Group (CCG) quarterly sessions are a year-long learning process through face-to-face collaboration and networking with other local heads of Learning & Talent Development. Each senior leader is encouraged to bring a peer from their organization that contributes to, engages, or supports the Learning & Talent spectrum for their workplace.

We are excited to have our Tuesday, June 26th session hosted at Kraft Foods (Northfield, IL) followed by our annual CLO/CTO Fundraising Dinner where Harry Kraemer will join us for dinner. Today’s program will focus on Future Trends & Social Networking Best Practices:
  • Best Practices in Social Networking, specifically in the areas of work collaboration across an enterprise (Tom Barfield, Accenture will lead)
  • Future Trends for Training & Talent Development, 5 to 10 years forward (Karen Kocher, CIGNA will lead)
Our CCG has quarterly meetings are built around the following design elements:
  1. Sharing practical case studies aligned to business needs
  2. Identifying key issues and developing insights and solutions
  3. Canvassing learning industry trends applied at ELE members' workplace
  4. Blending formal & informal learning hosted at ELE members' workplace:
    • Formal presentations, many times with line leaders, are scheduled between 1:00 - 5:15 p.m.
    • Hosting company provides an informal on-site lunch & we will be concluding this session with our annual off-site CLO/CTO Fundraising Dinner benefiting One Acre Fund.
