We are working closely with Executive Learning Exchange (ELE) Enterprise members who will be contributing valuable presentations and exhibits at our 10th annual learning leaders conference. We are thrilled to be having our highly interactive exchange at Hamburger University to celebrate their 50th birthday while having an intense action learning experience with a full-day of peer-collaboration and after-hour cocktails.

2010 Chicagoland Learning Leaders Conference

According to HBR's Imagining the Future of Leadership blog,
“Nearly 60% of companies are facing leadership talent shortages that are impeding their performance. Another 31% expect a lack of leadership talent to impede their performance in the next several years. Yet, in 2009, U.S. companies spent an estimated $12 billion (24% of their overall training budgets) on leadership development programs and services. By any reasonable standard, what we are currently doing to grow and develop future leaders is not working.”

Inspired by our ELE Enterprise members' focus on making their leadership development programs stick, we are delighted to be planning a full day of 25+ sessions based on Accelerated Leadership Development: Making it Stick From Values to Action.

The first 250 conference registrations will be provided the opportunity to get a complimentary copy of From Values to Action (2011, Harry M. Jansen Kraemer Jr.).

We are planning 25 additional concurrent breakout sessions with over 75 diverse thought leaders on timely topics focusing on:
  • Accelerated Leadership Development
  • Social Learning & Informal Learning
  • Learning Alignment Strategies & Business Impact
  • Current Trends: Flexible Environments, Product Sales Training, Mobile, Simulations, & Cross-cultural Competence
